It is Time to Extend Your 100G!
In the past several months, everyone has taken full notice of the development and expansion of MikroTik's family of 100G connectivity devices.
Now, with a flagship 100G Ethernet router, a couple of switches for indoor use and enterprise-level activities, as well as a pair of interfaces, MikroTik is introducing a new item to help 100G connectivity literally go the extra mile!
Meet the XQ+31LC10D, a QSFP28 module for impressive distances up to 10 km!
Growing in Size and Length!
The 100G family of MikroTik hardware, we mean!
In addition to the introduction of a new hardware, with the XQ+31LC10D, MikroTik now enables users to extend their connections to distances up to 10 Km! This QSFP matches the already well-received CCR2216, CRS504 or CRS518 devices to bring you real speed and ultimate reliability for such long distances.
It offers 4 independent full-duplex channels with up to 25 Gbps per channel bandwidth and an aggregate bandwidth of 100 Gbps, together with built-in digital diagnostic functions, e.g., optical power monitoring, transceiver supply voltage, temperature, laser bias current monitoring, etc. that are used to alert customers about abnormal activity or the capping of specific customizable limits.
Why not hear all about this interface from MikroTik itself:
Out with the Old...
On a side note, as the routine goes, MikroTik has discontinued some of its older products. You can see their list below, along with suggestions of newer, more capable products that can replace them:
As it has always been, electronic products always have a limited period of full efficiency, as they will either fail to keep up with advancing tech or replaced with more superior products. Luckily, with MikroTik products, it is the latter case, as there are always much better replacements to use once a given hardware is discontinuted.

In today's fast-paced digital world, the demand for higher bandwidth and faster transmission speeds is ever-increasing. As enterprises and data centers shift towards 100G Ethernet data transmission, MikroTik stands at the forefront with its latest offering: the CRS504-4XQ-IN Switch.
The CRS504-4XQ-IN is not just another switch in the market. It's your compact, energy-efficient gateway to the world of 100 Gigabit networking. Designed as the next logical step for those looking to upgrade from 10 or 40 Gigabit networks, this switch boasts multiple powering options and dual hot-swap power supplies.
In the rapidly evolving world of networking, the demand for faster data transfer rates is relentless. As more PCs and client devices ship daily with 2.5G ports, the market for multi-gigabit speeds is expanding at an unprecedented rate.
Until recently, the leap from 1G to 10G was a costly endeavor for many. However, the landscape is shifting, and MikroTik's CRS310-8G+2S+IN is at the forefront of this change.
