Break the Chains of 100 Gbps!
As the advent of 100G connectivity continues in MikroTik devices, it comes as no surprise that thousands of businesses from a dozen different industries are becoming more eager to implement such rapid connectivitiy into their networks.
However, environmental problems limited the use of 100G devices in open-air spaces... Until now, that is, with the launch of the CRS504-4XQ-OUT!
Weatherproof & Energy-Efficient
With its indoor counterpart released some time ago, the new CRS504 has been designed primarily as an outdoor switch, and thus, with an ingress protection of IP66, it is perfectly dust-tight and can withstand powerful jets of water with ease.
Moreover, it is quite effective when it comes to powering and power consumption. With 3 different DC powering options, that is a DC jack, PoE-In and a 2-pin terminal, this switch gives you maximum uptime while consuming only 38 W working at full-speed thanks to its Marvell Prestera switch chip!
And under the hood, next to a 650 MHz MIPSBE CPU, the CRS504-4XQ-OUT comes with 4 100G QSFP28 ports as well as a single Fast Ethernet port for management.
Looking for Other MikroTik Switches?
It's Time for that Network Upgrade
With more and more 100G MikroTik devices in the market, upgrading your network to a full-fledged 100 Gbps powerhouse is easier than ever!
Each port on the outdoor CRS504 is connected to four 25 Gigabit lines, giving you a total of 16 high-speed fiber interfaces on one outdoor switch! This allows you to get creatie and implement this device along with various types of other hardware.
You can, for instance, have 100G on one QSFP28 port, 40G on the other, 4 25G on the third, and even some 10G or 1G cables on the fourth. Here's a sample usage down below:
Don't Lose the Momentum!
Though 100G MikroTik devices have been around for some months, they're still brand new and have not become prevalent. A look a today's online services and mainstream traffic volumes, however, means 100G devices will soon become as vital as the Internet itself.
So if you're looking to stand out among the crowd, become a pioneer in your industry, upgrade your network, and start delivering services with connections speeds that'll leave clients happy and the competition wondering!
